We purchased kitchen cabinets from Acorn and are very pleased with the results. Christie was amazing. She was helpful, knowledable, and very professional. Christie even thought of things that we would not have on our own, offering very helptul suggestions. Cabinets were delivered on time and everyone from the delevery person to the installer were polite, friendsly, and very professional. Our overall eperieince was excellent. We would hightly recommend Acorn for your cabinistry needs.

This was the worst experience I have ever had while remodeling my home. I ordered a custom bathroom sink and vanity March 1, 2021. It was supposed to be completed in 8 weeks. It was finally installed today, August 10, 2021. I was told "it fell through the cracks" and was forgotten about when I called to inquire about my order in June. It was installed in July, but the vanity was cut incorrectly, not the custom vanity I ordered.

When I called to discuss the mistake, Brandon Ruby (sales) and Lori Macdonald (the manager) did not want to take accountability and just admit it was wrong. Brandon even laughed. After much argument with Lori, the manager, about how she thinks my bathroom should look, and proving that the vanity was incorrect, it was remade. The customer service is terrible for the amount of money that is being spent.

There was no remorse for my time and money. I had to wait 5 months for my bathroom to be completed because Acorn, Brandon Ruby, and Lori MacDonald did a poor job at communication, customer service, and customer satisfaction. They didn't deserve my money and time and they don't deserve anyone else's money and time. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation using cabinets from Acorn and couldn't be happier. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. Justin Terban is a consummate professional and a joy to work with. He has a wonderful eye for design and offered excellent advice in helping to make our kitchen not only beautiful but functional! He was always available for questions and when we had a small issue with a cabinet pullout missing he was on the phone that day to order another one. Highly recommended!

Acorn just completed our kitchen remodel in our 1929 house. I highly recommend our designer, Christie. We presented her with a general idea of what we wanted and she did an amazing job guiding us on our design choices. We also used Acorn for the complete installation. The project manager, Tony, worked with us every step of the way and completed everything on schedule. We are very happy with the results.

I remodeled my entire kitchen in early 2020 and started working with Christie in late 2019. I was very happy with the whole experience. I had an idea of what I wanted but had no idea there were so many options. Christie showed me the different options and worked with me on the design. I then wanted a few changes and she was more than willing to update the design and offer suggestions.

And then of course near the very end of the project, I ordered an additional cabinet and they were able to get it for me in a more than reasonable amount of time. And now a year later, i still love everything about my kitchen!

I started working on my kitchen design over 6 months ago. During this time the owner refused to wear a mask during the height of the pandemic. Her reasoning was "I already got it so I'm safe". Well, It's been well over the 3 month safety period and she and all the staff in the warehouse walk freely throughout the business without wearing a mask. This total disregard for the safety of their customers is irresponsible at best.

I am a custom home builder and I have ordered countless kitchen and bath cabinets from Acorn Cabinets for over ten years. The homes I build are in the $1-4 million dollar range and my customers expect high quality cabinetry and service and we get that from Acorn. They have a wide selection of cabinets in various price points that are also affordable. Lastly the owner, Joe, and his sales manager, Lori, are people of high integrity that bend over backward to keep their customers happy. If there are any issues you can count on them to resolve them quickly and professionally.

I called Acorn last week to see if they had replacement hinges in stock for my Aristokraft cabinets. Aristokraft has a LIFETIME warranty on hinges. I was informed by Tim that they may or may not have them in stock and that Aristokraft only has a 5 year warranty on their hinges. He was "gracious" enough to offer to give me the hinges for "free" if they had them in stock or he could order them if need be.

I told him I was pretty sure that they had a lifetime warranty and he disagreed but said he would "give" me the hinges even though they were Aristokraft cabinets "our builders base grade" cabinets. Well, Tim I would like to tell you that Aristokraft DOES still have a lifetime warranty on their hinges and I ordered them from their website. I am not going to drive 20 miles to pick up hinges you "might" have in stock because you are too lazy to check your inventory.

Furthermore I had planned to look at countertops while I was there because we are remodeling. We did choose to keep our "builders grade cabinets" however because we like them but our countertops and floor need replacing. We will not be shopping at Acorn. You lost yourself a lifetime customer. I don't think Aristokraft would be very happy to know that you are misrepresenting them as well. I gave Acorn 2 stars because I have had positive experiences with them in the past but clearly customer service is no longer a priority.

It was a great experience working with Christy Stasiak at Acorn Kitchen and bath. If it wasn't for Christy to help me through the experience I could not have accomplished my dream kitchen come through. Christie was fantastic and very patient with me and helped me with picking everything to coordinate my beautiful kitchen. I highly recommend Christy to help you achieve your goal

Colleen was a DREAM to work with! From the first time we walked into the showroom to the final install day, she was always making sure our project was running smoothly. Colleen was able to work with the cabinet manufacturer to create custom pieces we had requested and made our vision of a contemporary kitchen come to life. We selected Omega Cabinets, and the quality is superb. We'll definitely be using Acorn K & B for any other projects we may have.

Christie Stasiak took my jumbled ideas and turned them into a stunning kitchen layout. She is brilliant with design and working with different spaces. She was very patient and walked through different concepts and ideas with us (a few times as I changed my mind and some edits). :) The Kemper cabinets are gorgeous and they all came in at the same time and were packaged really well. It was a great experience!

We contracted Acorn for a Kitchen Renovation and they did a fantastic job from design to installation. They worked within our budget, provided good suggestions from design to materials and hit all of their target dates. I will be using them again for future work!

I am giving one star because I cant go any lower and write this review. Acorn Cabinets WARNING DO NO DEAL WITH THEM I would of had morre luck going to Home Depot I would of gotten better customer service. These people make a ton of mistakes and then try to turn it on you that you didnt read this right or you didnt see the renderings the right way.

Whatever I paid a lot of money for kitchen cabinets and there are a ton of mistakes in measuring. I have a 30" microwave between a 36" space. They made the cabinet for my double over 5" too small and put a counter depth cover on my oversized refrigerator. There are many more mistakes but Im not going to list them all. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY RACHAEL OR LORIE WHO IS THE SALES MANAGER.

Do not deal with acorn kitchen and bath in west bloomfield. i had a kitchen remodel and so far they have measured the cabinets wrong vent is inside part of a cabinet and the other part under the dishwasher, they put a drawer where the cooktop was supposed to be. they put a cabinet depth refrigerator cover on my oversized refrigerator. they builty my 30" microwave into a 36" space so i have to have fillers made for it and last but not least they made the opening for the double over 4" too short. do not deal with rachael corrin or lori the sales manager there is no customer service. they treat you like your stupid and dont understand their renderings. they are the professionals and should notice these things when they come to your house and measure. no customer service with these people two of the drawers are also scratched and have to be replaced which they are going to do that. - this is only the start of the problems my poor friend has had to deal with.

She is retired and after a flooded kitchen - dealing with the endless mistakes from acorn kitchen is the last thing she needed. why won't they correct their mistakes and make it right!? Home Depot would have been a better choice compared to the level of quality and customer service she has had to deal with.

Not sure what kind of gold mine Acorn sits on, but regardless.it would be great if the sales associates could show some willingness to help customers in an attentive/friendly manner. I assumed these folks work on commission and might be more inclined to serve customers. I was ignored for the good part of my visit (Not even a standard "hello" from anyone there for the first 10 minutes).

I used that time to look through the showroom and formulate questions about specific product. When the angry, freckled ginger-tones associate finally decided to offer assistance, I wished he hadn't. (I forgot the associate's name but he had a know-it-all, snotty attitude and seemed to generally have a hot temper). From start to finish, the quote and his feedback were of no help because of an unwillingness to help and his unfriendly disposition.

Before that visit, I was a second generation Acorn Kitchen customer. My parents used to work with Acorn quite often in their line of work. Seems like the relationship ends with me. It is not the place it used to be in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

We recently hired Acorn Kitchen and Bath to select cabinets and install them in our kitchen. They provided a design and installation that met our budget expectations. We worked with Justin Terban and contractor Tony Salinas did the installation. Both were highly professional and easy to reach. They were very flexible about the fact that we hired our own contractors for the floor and the counter tops. Coordination and timing of the installs went smoothly.

The cabinets were slow to arrive but we were very pleased with their quality. Once the work started it was done quickly and the final result is excellent. The installers showed up when they said they would and they kept us apprised of their progress. I would go back to Acorn Kitchen and Bath to get more work done in my house and I recommend them highly.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Acorn Kitchen and Bath. Justin helped us every step of the way. They have a huge selection of different price points. He showed us all the options and different configurations for our kitchen. He was also helpful with the installation process even though we found our own installer. We love our new kitchen! Now on the the powder room.

The worst customer service Ive received in remodeling and Ive done several homes in my years. This was for large master bath. We spent over 40K on this total remodel so not chump change. Process was slow - slow for design, I believe to lack of experience, slow to get ordered, received wrong molding, and the office manager was shockingly rude when I called asking to speak to a manager to get things resolved.

I will never buy from Acorn again. awful experience. Our 100K kitchen / dining remodel is going to another company who is more experienced and demonstrates respect for customer's time.

Do NOT go to ACORN! Go to Home Depot or ANYWHERE ELSE! Spent over $12,000 in cabinets and EVERY SINGLE cabinet came in damaged. I hired an "interior designer" who was also employed by ACorn and suggested we use ACorn. Of course this was in effort to double dip on commission and get a kick back from ACORN. After receiving my cabinets, the "designer" came to inspect the damages as if I was telling a lie.

Of course, not only were all damages present, she found even more problems. In March I was promised 2 weeks for delivery of replacement cabinets and fronts. It's been 7 weeks and I have received NOTHING. The ACorn employee over the phone told me my BEST OPTION is to file a law suit and hung up the phone on me. After 7 weeks of trying, today was the FIRST time an ACorn manager picked up the phone to attempt resolving. IMPORTANT -- ONLY after I threatened to take this to social media did they offer a solution. Wow. I am appalled by the lack of service from this place. They are unprofessional and unaccountable. They cannot be trusted. Take your business and home elsewhere.

This is the third time we have worked with Acorn Kitchen and Bath - recently with a remodel of our bath and laundry rooms. We are extremely pleased with everything! Annie Einheuser, our designer, and Tony, the contractor, were so professional, helpful and friendly every step of the way. She was prompt with responses to our phone calls and emails, helpful with choosing the perfect quartz, and creative with design suggestions. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. We would recommend Acorn to everybody!

I am thrilled with my new kitchen. The entire experience with Acorn was 5 stars! From the design phase to the final walk through this morning, the service levels and quality of work were excellent. I've compared notes with friends and family who are experienced with home renovation projects. My project came in on time, on budget, and was far smoother than what I was prepared for it to be.

I will be doing a bathroom project with Acorn in 2016 and look forward to another fantastic outcome. If you are looking for a great family owned company to partner with on a kitchen or bath project, I highly recommend Acorn Kitchen and Bath.

We had a major leak on our upstairs shower floor pan. Our house was built in 1957. The water barrier had degraded. It leaked while were in Arizona for the winter. We had major mold in the closet below and a ruined plaster ceiling in the bathroom downstairs. While we were at it, we got a new vanity for the up stairs bathroom. All the subcontractors were outstanding.

The project was handled by Justin who did a good job coordinating all the features and styles. Tony was the project manager who was very friendly and helpful. The one and only complaint: everything took a long time to complete. We started in May and finished October 20. Time was wasted waiting for the one subcontractor to finish his job before the next could start.

I never had under taken any other projects before, so I don't know if this is "normal" procedure. It was a mess of a project, but I wanted some one reliable. And that they are. I did not get any competing quotes so I can't comment on the price but I thought it was reasonable. Justin even tired real hard to get a section of remnant for our counter top to save us money. Nothing became available in our color requirement. Hans Schwarz

We were very disappointed with the overall process. We interviewed several companies and while Acorn was not the low price choice; they were the highest, we went with them because the quality of materials available, design support, and the one stop shopping seemed to be the best fit for us. Much time and effort was put into the design, but it was still incomplete, we ended up with lots of smaller storage spaces then before, and almost every door bangs into something.

One example: The backsplash tile design was completed with the tile subcontractor during the installation, which upset the subcontractor greatly, and he was angry at us, not Acorn. Every detail, which during planning process we were told would be ok, turned out to be an issue. Hire a lawyer! And every issue was between us and the subcontractors. Acorn, and Tony the project manager specifically, did not support us, but explained why every miss communication was our fault.

It did not matter if material was miss-ordered, on back order, if they broke their own guidelines, or when our contract with Acorn detailed more work than what Acorn's contracts with their subcontractor called for, it was always our fault. We had to take the heat from the subcontractors on every miscommunication. The Decora cabinets are beautiful and the granite work is top notch, but the process was horrible. They left the job 90% done 5 months into what was quoted to take 3 weeks. Living through the job was a nightmare!

I was interesting in updating my bathrooms. I made an appointment and the Sales Manager spent my valuable time training her new employee. Subsequent calls for information were not returned. Don't understand how Acorn stays in business.

They replaced our kitchen counter tops, sink, disposal and back splash and installed a cook top. Competitive pricing, quick turn around and great quality.

Very poor customer service! We were trying to work with a sales rep but apparently he was too busy for our master bath and closet rennovation. He would not return emails and never delivered information when he said he would. Then a final email with the quote which was double what he thought it would be - but never a phone call or an explanation.

Wow! Never have been to a place so indifferent to new business. We called about new countertops, were told to fax in our floor plan. We did, but never heard from them. Called, put on hold for over 15 minutes. Decided to go to showroom; virtually ignored. Finally told no one could help us that day but someone would get back to us in a few days. Glad they have so many customers; we won't be one of them.

We invited Frank to our house on 5-2-13 to look at room to be remodeled. He attended with a construction supervisor to make an estimate. Over a month later and we still have not heard from them. I have called several times and finally spoke to a Lisa who said she was a manager. She told me she would get back to me the same day. Now a day later still no call.

She eventually got back to me and said she would personally follow up. On 7-11-13 I answered her email regarding what we had talked to Mike about and I responded with the style and color. Our bath is large and cost would be well worth their time. On 7-23-13, 2 and 1/2 months later, mike called to ask if I wanted to proceed. I said no thank you it has been too long with no follow-up. In my opinion the company is really inept and the sales staff is horrible. If the presale is this terrible how good can the post sale be?

5 stars for sure. We had a budget that we surpassed but every turn was disclosed and we knowingly went over. Joe is great - he'll call you back (thumbs up) and is fair. Quality is great, value is great and the issues (there are always issues.) were resolved without an arguement. We "interviewed" about 12 companies, were torn between 2, and selected Acorn because they worked on my parents kitchens and bathrooms with great attention to detail.

They even advised on a cheaper towel bar solution (that reduced their profits) knowing that we were getting close to our budget limit! Overall super pleased. The before and afters are amazing!
