At Alpine Cabinet Company, we believe in keeping things simple. We build outstanding cabinetry for use in any room, and we do it with integrity. With that in mind, we've refined our process over the course of 50 years, evolving with the times and the changing needs of homeowners and builders. Choose from a variety of wood species, stains, glazes, hardware, and more, to match the design aesthetic you've envisioned.
Alpine's Face Frame cabinet construction style is our standard construction method. It is a full line of cabinets available in five wood species with four of those wood species available in "knotty" or "rustic" options for a total of nine wood choices. Thoroughly kiln dried hardwood is used in all frame construction.
Northern red oak has been used in the cabinet industry for many years. It is recognized by the predominant grain patterns that vary between straight grain and arched grain patterns. Oak is a very strong hardwood with some color variation. Alder is a tighter and straighter grain hardwood. While it accepts stain better than most species, it is one of the softer hardwoods and can dent relatively easily.

Refused to replicate 20 year old cabinets THEY made! Not even a close match in style or color, and refused to custom make a matching set of cabinets. Only capable of making their current prefab doors regardless of the cabinet boxes they custom build, but NOT in matching stain color. Sad state of of a once great business.

Just called to ask for information on our existing cabinets that were purchased from alpine cabinet co. and was totally blown off by the receptionist. She didn't even give me the time of day. Horrible customer service

I have filled out the form on the website twice trying to get a quote. I have waited 3 weeks and have not heard from them about either of my inquiries. I used to work with this shop back when I lived nearby, but since I have moved I have been looking for other shops like them. I am not able to call them during business hours, but apparently that's what you have to do because they don't respond to their online forms on their website and their email. I will update the review if I hear from them.

Ray's customer service sucks. If I didn't have to deal with them because my builder worked with them I would walk away. Just because you "don't know" about what I'm calling for doesn't mean you need to be a jerk about it. Where is quality customer service anymore?

Went in to see if they had plastic clips to hold my shelf in my cabinet. My cabinets weren't built by them but they lady at the front desk went out of her way to help me. If I ever get new cabinets they will be on my list to do them. Thanks for your help

Hard to believe the prior reviews, but hope they followed up with Alpine because our experience was beyond excellent. We gave them the measurements and chose the wood and style, etc for a custom oak cabinet (to sit on the floor) for our laundry room. A couple weeks later, it was ready and when we went to pick it up, it was too large for our SUV. Travis and Steve dropped what they were doing and for $50 delivered and installed the cabinet within the hour Travis had to cut away some wood near the shelving (our bad) to make it work, but it was done in such a way you couldn't notice.

The cabinet is perfect, it now fits perfect and we can't thank Steve, Travis and all the folks at Alpine for everything they did. Great quality cabinetry work and great customer service. I note that two of the prior reviews were in years past.

So disappointed in the work and service. When they first dropped off the cabinets, I asked what to do if I found a flaw, and I was shrugged off and basically told, "well how will we know you didn't actually do it?" We were upsold a stronger wood for the cabinets, but the paint is terrible and doesn't stick to the wood well. This means that whenever any kind of water touches the cabinet, the paint comes off.

The doors/ drawers all look terrible. They replaced the doors once, saying they had fixed the issue, but the second are no better. I've compared to the white cabinets in many houses, and mine are the worst I've seen, by far! I even looked at my parents the other day-- their house is 20 years old and they have minimal paint coming off. (Ours are 2.5 years old) Stay away! They are not customer- oriented at all.

I brought one of my old cabinet doors in to be matched up with two new ones. They matched up the stain spot on. I put them up today. They look amazing. Thanks for a job well done!

Awesome cabinets and craftsmanship. The level of service was outstanding! They helped us fabricate special doors for our pantry, and we love our Alder wood floating shelves. These guys were here for us at every turn. We loved working with them. I highly recommend using them for any project.

Our contractor recommended Alpine to us over ordering cabinets online, pointing out that they're product was superior and their service was better than ordering online and if there was a problem, they are local and would come right out and fix it. WRONG! We ordered knotty alder cabinets just like we have in our kitchen. What we got was shoddy quality and looks incredibly cheap. AND, when our contractor pointed these issues out to them, the response was that they wouldn't even come out and look at them for a few weeks. This is not how you treat customers!

Very rude customer service. They seem to not like working with the general public. Their follow through with doing what they say they are going to do stinks. The cabinets are beautiful and match existing cabinets already installed. That is the only reason why I went to Alpine Cabinets in the first place.

We used Alpine Cabinets for our kitchen remodel, and couldn't be happier. Aside from the sheer quality of the materials used, the staff was on-time, knowledgeable and friendly. I've recommended Scott and his team to all of my friends with home improvement projects.

Cabinets are great! Very happy with the product. The customer service.one star is pushing it. I have tried four times to get some items to complete a job. I have left voicemails and been made to feel like I am not important. Great Job Alpine, you have fallen in line with the industry standard.

From my experience, I can't necessarily recommend these guys. Mostly for customer service and friendliness issues I had during my visits. There is no one to greet you or give you a quick tour or run down of how the process works, all you get is an eventual "Yeah?" from someone poking their head out from their office. The front showroom is cluttered and makes you fell like you're in the middle of a work in progress.

All I needed was six drawer boxes rebuilt and the fellow who helped me (Ray) had absolutely no energy or interest in the sale or my needs. It was as if I was annoying him by stopping by. The quality, however, was amazing. Super quick turnaround - he thought it would be 5-6 days but they took care of it overnight and I had my drawers the next day. Yes that's obviously under-promise and over-deliver but it worked for me.

The price was just okay, $230 all in for the six small drawers. If you're a local yokel then you won't notice the service issues, but if you're used to being doted on, you'll do a double take for the first 10 minutes of your visit.
