Cabinet Wizard

The customer service at this business is really poor and that's putting it mildly. I cannot attest to the workmanship so this post is mainly about the poor.rather lack of customer service from this entity. I reached out to them via their website around Sept 4th and I received a reply around the 8th asking for clarification in the email since I inadvertently said I was looking for assistance in having my counters done when I meant cabinets.

I immediately replied back the same day and explained what I wanted to do about my cabinets. I was really excited as I was hoping this company could help me as I cannot find many companies that do this time of work. I sent about 3 emails with pics of my cabinets so they could get an idea of what my cabinet looked like and explained what I wanted done.

Ever since, I have never received a response back. I have sent several follow up emails and have called a couple of times asking if they would be able to assist me with my project. But they kept blowing me off, not even a simple call or email to say that couldn't handle the project or they were not interested. I can not think of anything is worse.

I could only imagine that if they did take on the work that communication with these people would be non-existent and always be wondering if they would be working on the project. This was a TOTAL waste of time on my part. I spent a lot of wasted time on this company really hoping they would come through, but with this type of customer service its better I find another company.

Great prices, quick service and did all of our kitchen/bathrooms. Loved the ease of having these done and scheduled a within a week of providing the quote.

Worked with Brad and his team to have custom bookshelves installed in our new home. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. It came in right in line with what we were looking for. Researched on Pinterest for ideas and then Brad executed on them. They also installed a mud room bench and shoe closet. The team is very busy so book ahead but you will not be disappointed.

This company is fabulous. Five stars is not enough. Requested a quote and got a response and appointment right away. It was clear that he knew his business and craft, so we immediately signed up for cabinet refacing. Here I will note that I sought estimates from two other companies. One responded by message but never followed through, and the other was more than double the price. Cabinets look amazing and he added the other personal touches, such as drawers for pots and pans.

He also used the drawer pulls I wanted. I would highly recommend this company in a heart beat. You won't be disappointed. Took just over a day to complete with minimal clean up.

Brad and his assistant Dakota did a fabulous job refacing our old fashioned honey oak kitchen cabinets. The new ones look amazing! Brad uses 1/4" wood sheets for refacing the cabinet frames; if you check with other companies, many use very thin material almost like contact paper that will not last any time at all. The doors and drawer fronts are replaced with whatever wood you select, then stained your choice of color (we chose Rosewood). Brad has been doing woodworking for many years and had suggestions for how to make best use of our existing cabinets.

For example, in addition to changing doors and shelves into deep pot drawers, Brad suggested we make a 3" dead space into a pullout spice rack. It's really nice! At no time did we feel we were being 'upsold' into buying anything. We wanted three sets of overhead cabinets replaced with glass inset doors instead of wood. No problem. When we then asked for glass shelves, Brad made them with wood facings all the way around, so the glass nestled into the shelves like picture frames. Completely custom and something we didn't even know to request! Take a look at our before and after photos, they say it all!

I was so impressed with Brad and his team's work. My mom has complained about her cabinets for a while. They are the very dark ones in the photos and photograph relatively well but in person, didn't look very nice. The drawers didn't come all the way out, etc. We were discouraged when we got rough estimates to replace them that were about $15k.

I found The Cabinet Wizard on Angie's List and they were quick to come out and give an estimate at close to 25% of the cost of replacing! The "makeover" took one day to complete because the team came ready with doors, drawers, and new Box "faces" already prepped and stained with custom measurements. THE DIFFERENCE IS INCREDIBLE! As a financial professional this is by far the best ROI project you could do in a home. Do not hesitate!

The Cabinet Wizard, Brad, really is a wizard. He understood exactly what we wanted with minimal explanation, drew sketches on the spot, and quoted us a price for his superior design that was below other estimates we had received for design and material that weren't as good. We also had a problem corner that dated back to when the house was built, and that no one we had consulted had been willing to take on.

He examined the spot, took a door to match the finish, and came back with a replacement for the corner that matched perfectly. It looked original, except now it is usable. Besides the beauty and functionality he provided at such an excellent price, both he and Dawn, his administrative assistant (and wife) were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. We can't recommend them enough.

Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough. They deserve 10 if allowed! I knew I wanted to "reface" my cabinets since the "bones" on what I currently had were still good. I called a few places around town including Home Depot. HD gave me an estimate of $10,000 for refacing with not many options on doors and only few wood stain colors. After an extensive search, I came across Cabinet Wizards by a google search.

I went ahead and scheduled a in Home appointment 2 week of January. Brad came out and gave me more options that I ever could imagine from cabinet door types to over 60 different stains for wood and even trim for the top cabinets. I am particular on many things, especially when spending a lot of money and they were accommodating from the getgo! I was hesitant to jump in since I got screwed once by a contractor but these guys def talked the talk.

Their estimate was half of Home Depot and def less expensive than the previous 3 contractors that came by. They were t the lowest thou. I am so glad I hired them. I am still amazed at the craftsmanship and attention to detail Brad has. He apparently has been woodworking for over 30 years and you can tell! These guys are the real deal, I will always recommend them. I am still amazed of what my kitchen looks like now. Thank you for what you did! Still in awe of the work. Thank you!
