Classic Cupboards is a locally owned and full service kitchen dealer, specializing in custom cabinetry and design services. Classic Cupboards was founded by Stewart Lagarde in 1983 and is now a second generation family owned company. In 1996, Stewart was joined by his son, John Lagarde. As they worked together, Classic Cupboards became New Orleans' premier kitchen and bathroom design firm. For the last 37 years our approach has always focused on tailoring our products and services to the needs of our customers.

John and Pat made working on my kitchen project go smoothly. We went over every detail to make sure that the cabinets came without a hitch. I love the organizing accessories for spices and utensils as well as the roll out trays and blind corner cabinet pull out; adding functionality. Classic Cupboards gives outstanding service and I am so pleased with my beautiful, well-planned kitchen.

I came to Classic Cupboards with a picture from a magazine of a kitchen I loved and asked John & Pat to replicate the general feel of the kitchen into the 1940's kitchen and breakfast room of the house we were renovating. I had a large list of demands - custom oversized appliances, seating for 6, a bar, lots of light and told them where I wanted to spend money and where I wanted to save. The result was the kitchen of my dreams, all within budget. Working with them was fantastic.
