Cranbury Design Center was created in early 2001 to leverage the special talents of its owners, Charlie Rini and Frank O'Leary. Bringing together strong experiences in residential space design, including kitchens and baths, master carpentry and general contracting, as well as business project management and strategic marketing, Cranbury Design offers clients a unique full-service experience. All aspects of the project - from client needs assessment, design and filing permits, through general contracting and finish painting - are provided.

We specialize in the design, development, delivery and installation of custom home spaces including kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, additions, home entertainment areas and executive suites. We offer a level of creativity, practical experience, key strategic alliances and services that surpass the expectations of our clients. Our team of professionals listens thoroughly to understand your lifestyle, unique need and requirements, as well as your expectations. Only then do we make recommendations on the kitchen and bath designs that will best meet your particular needs. Because we are builders as well as designers, Cranbury Design professionals are confident that what we design can actually be implemented (by us or your own builder).

From Our Website

We listen to your needs, desires and wishes regarding your kitchen or bath design project and customize a plan just for you. Recognizing that every client's home remodel or renovation is different, we pay attention to the details and put together a project plan to meet your goals. With over 40 years of experience in designing and building kitchens, baths and other home spaces, our expertise is the keystone to our success. We consistently exceed client expectations, and deliver beautiful spaces once our projects are complete.

Our clients wanted to step outside the box and creatively used their center hall colonial dining room to dramatically expand their kitchen space, all while staying within the existing footprint of their home. We eliminated the walls between the dining room and kitchen to create a new large island for seating and serving, a cooking area and lots of storage. The new column shows where the old rooms met. The back area on the right, with the beautiful arched window above the main sink, includes a smaller island used as the beverage area and seating.

There are so many countertop material choices for the kitchen and we are here to guide you through these choices with tips on how some of the counter materials measure up. Natural stone counters are available in a wide range of colors and patterns. We generally offer 3 CM (1-1/2 inch) slab material for our kitchen projects. During the selection process with Cranbury Design, since no two slabs of granite are the same, we will reserve your exact slabs for your project. This allows you to create an elegant, totally unique kitchen design.
