Kitchen Choreography

We typically don't participate in business reviews or ratings, but our experience with Kitchen Choreography makes it easy to justify an exception. In brief, it was a pleasure to work with Angela, Mike and their outstanding supporting cast of talented subcontractors and vendors. We extensively remodeled a large townhome in Glen Arbor, MI. We moved walls, relocated bathrooms, added rooms and essentially altered every aspect of the interior - all of it done remotely with only occasional visits while we maintained our primary residence in FL.

From the initial design/ideation sessions to the final walk-thru the process was friendly, professional, timely and on budget. A process and result made even more remarkable as it all occurred during the height of the COVID crisis and supply chain challenges. I had Angela & her assistant come to my Northport home for a $350 consultation a few years ago. We chatted & she took some pictures. As time has passed, we have decided to sell our property "as is." I asked Angela if she would be willing to return $175 of the consulting fee several times & she would not return any money. I would encourage every homeowner who is doing remodeling TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. A verbal affirmation between 2 parties will not hold up in court should circumstances change.

In 2015/2016 I had the pleasure of working with Angela & Mike Goodall and the broader Kitchen Choreography team on my complete home renovation. From the beginning of the project, I was impressed by the organized and creative approach the Kitchen Choreography team took with my project. Angela and I met regularly to plan the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, etc.

Her designs have worked perfectly for entertaining and living comfortably in my home. The craftmanship of my cupboards & closets throughout the house are very high quality and consistently get compliments from my guests. Mike and his team do excellent work. I highly recommend Kitchen Choreography for any home renovation project.

We are so happy with our home remodel! We had a specific vision and the KC team brought it to life. Angela came up with some genius ideas - the most mid blowing was cutting Corian to look like ship lap in bathrooms so its waterproof! They did a great job when issues arose, which they always do in a renovation, and were able to shift gears and come up with solutions. They are a great team to work with!

Angela and the Kitchen Choreography team are simply the best around. We wanted a contemporary home, which isn't the norm in Northern Michigan. Angela proved that she can adapt her services to many different design styles and exceeded our expectations. She made an overwhelming situation an enjoyable one with her communication, organizational skills, and her design expertise. We are absolutely delighted with our renovations from Kitchen Choreography. We were so happy with the first renovation (kitchen, laundry, etc.) that we did a second renovation the next year for our master bath and guest bathroom. The designs are well thought out, the selections of the materials, colors, fixtures really met my style and were very high quality. The team Angela hires are excellent and very respectful. We had seen much of Angela's work in the area and knew we wanted to work with her and the Kitchen Choreography team on our new retirement home on Old Mission Peninsula. She was a valuable resource through the entire design/build process. Our dream was a comfortable home for two for that could also accommodate kids and grandkids and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

We found ourselves constantly seeking Angela's input and it seemed nothing was out of bounds. We had a very healthy working relationship; everyone's opinion was listened to and compromise, when needed, was easy to reach. We appreciated the professionalism of the entire office and their attention to detail. Marie was a great project manager and always on top of everything. Communication was good. Meetings were enjoyable and efficient. We have already recommended Angela to others and they are equally pleased.

We truly could not have been happier with our experience working with Angela, Mike and the team at Kitchen Choreography. After smaller projects in the past with other builders and designers, we were nervous and a bit overwhelmed starting our dream home. Angela and Mike helped make the process enjoyable. They were patient enough to get a good understanding of our tastes and needs.

They were organized, always available and clear in their communication. The decisions were always ours, when we wanted them, but with excellent guidance that gave us the confidence to move through the large project relatively quickly. I will use their services again when the opportunity arises and I have no reservations recommending them to friends and family.

We have used them for two major renovation projects, 1) kitchen, laundry, and powder room and 2) primary bed/bath and redesign of other bathrooms, both of which turned out better than imagined.

In addition, they are a pleasure to work with. Our third project with KC will commence this Fall. Both our projects were completed on schedule, a remarkable feat during these pandemic times.
