You see it before we build it - We provide all elevations and structural plans needed for your project. We will create 2D/3D visuals and rendering so you'll be able to see end results before we start working. Thank you for your help with the additional panel above the refrigerator. If your house or any part of your property experiences foundation failure, it is not a job you want to correct yourself. In order to do this properly you would have to be extensively trained and have a fast knowledge on the subject. This is not your everyday fixer. Before you close on your custom new home, you and your builder will "walk through" the house to conduct a final inspection. This is the best opportunity for you to learn how your new home works and to notice items that need to be fixed or adjusted.

We live in your typical westside 1940s ranch home that had an original yellow and maroon tiled kitchen and pink and gray tiled bathroom. We are a young family of 4 and love our area, but wanted a more modern and functional home. We were lucky to be referred to Guy and his wonderful team at Construction Owl. Guy provided us with a great design within our budget.
He took my Pinterest photos and helped us select the right materials to transform our home. The team ripped out our kitchen, laundry room and bathroom down to the studs and transformed it into a clean and modern space. The project was all permitted and quickly approved by the city inspectors. The entire project took about 3 months and we were able to live in our home during construction.
While there were a few issues along the way (mainly due to shipping pandemic delays), the entire process was pretty smooth. Guy's project managers and team were great about communicating when things were being done. We really enjoy our new kitchen, laundry space and bathroom. I even got my free standing tub that I had always dreamed about! A before and after photo of the kitchen are attached.

We have worked with many contractors over the years, and Construction Owl is, by far, the best. Everything we care about -quality of work, timeliness, professionalism, and design savvy -describes Construction owl. They did our partial home remodel three years ago and they just finished a bathroom remodel. They are easy to work with, everyone is so nice and they were accommodating with our schedule.
Guy came in and gave us great ideas for both the home remodel and the bathroom remodel. From there, they set out a timeline and helped us pick out fixtures and tile. We found Construction Owl online while we were still living out of state before closing on our home in Los Angeles. Speaking to Guy long distance about what we wanted done to the house (replace carpeting with hardwood floors & build out a laundry closet), he was very helpful and had great recommendations. While not the cheapest contractor in town, they were fast and knowledgeable.
They kept us updated as we drove cross country to California. And only a few days after moving in the floors were done and soon the laundry closet was too! We really appreciated the speed at which they completed the job.

We hired Construction Owl in October of 2019 to build a guesthouse in the backyard of our Echo Park home. Guy, the owner, met with us to discuss our rough plan and offered helpful suggestions for improvement. Guy handled the process of generating a final plan and securing all permits for the project and put us in touch with reputable, knowledgeable vendors for doors, windows, tile, etc. Demolition of an existing structure and construction of the new one went smoothly, including some rather complicated sewer-line work.
Any minor concerns we had were addressed promptly, and the various workers were always willing to answer our questions about the project. When the city threw in a last-minute requirement for a waste water drainage line to the street, the company also dealt with this. Guy's people were on-site for the inspections all the way up to the final one, and the project came in on budget. Our new guesthouse looks great, and we recommend Construction Owl to anyone interested in building something similar.

We hired Construction Owl to create a bedroom and bathroom in a converted attic. The process was so smooth! Guy was always available and promptly replied whenever we had questions or concerns. The process was explained very thoroughly to us from start to finish so we knew what to expect. And the final product was beautiful! All the people Guy hired did excellent work.
You always hear nightmare stories of general contractors that are flakey or unprofessional or don't do great work. Guy and his team were the opposite -- high quality professionals through and through. Anesta was great as well -- super friendly, professional, and on top of everything. They were all a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I called to set up an estimate and before I could even finish giving a description of the complete project the girl on the phone said that they only do big construction jobs and that I should call a flooring company. She didn't let me get to the part where I told her we wanted to replace a wall of windows and patio doors as well as all the interior doors and baseboards in our home.
That left a bad taste in my mouth and a really bad way to do business, as most business comes from referrals and repeat customers. And, by the way, they do state on their website that they do flooring and even handyman services.

I highly recommend construction owl for any home need! Guy and his team are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are hard-working, helpful with questions and concerns, and trustworthy. I did a lot of research and interviews with multiple contractors before picking Guy. The min I met him I knew he was the best! My bathroom needed a complete gut job and he walked me through the process, helped me pick out tiles and accessories, and finished the job on time! He was always available to answer my questions and I cant say enough about his company!

We did a lot of research to find the right contractor to build us a free-standing recreation room. We actually hired a different contractor first, simply based on having the lowest price. What a terrible decision. We quickly came to regret it, and fired that contractor as soon as we could -- a costly misjudgment. Even though Owl Construction's cost was a bit more, though very reasonable, we knew he was the right contractor for us.
Guy Hazan of Owl Construction is fantastic. He was so easy to work with. He's a compassionate listener, and kept us informed and at ease through the entire process. I don't know much about construction, and had never undergone a project of this size, but Guy was there every step of the way. He explained everything very clearly and addressed any questions or concerns we had from day one to the completion of the project. Also, he has a great eye for design, helping to make good structural and aesthetic decisions throughout.
I also must mention the Amazing Anesta. Anesta is a gem to this company. She kept the communication light and easy, and got the job done. She is responsive, dependable, organized and kind. The final building is stunning. The contractors did such a great job all around. To think what a nightmare it would have been to have continued with that original contractor who bullied and didn't listen. Owl Construction was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Around March/April of 2015 we hired Construction Owl to remodel on our master bedroom in our home in Woodland Hills. Although we were extremely happy with the results right away, we wanted to play it safe and wait a while before writing a review because we wanted to see how everything would hold up after months of everyday wear and tear. I'm pleased to report that everything is still as perfect as the day the workers finished the job!
Our project started with a visit from Guy. We were concerned he'd view our project as "small potatoes" and wouldn't give us the time of day but we were wrong. He treated us as though we were asking to remodel the Taj Mahal. Another concern to me was how I would be treated. My husband was usually at work so I would be left to handle the planning with Guy and eventually his crew. (I've encountered the "let me talk to your husband" types). I'm thrilled to say that at no point did I feel that I was being talked-down to.
That alone is refreshing and goes a long way. Guy was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about all facets of the project. He listened attentively and offered excellent recommendations on paint color, carpet options, baseboard choice, and other odds and ends. We scheduled a start date and time. His crew arrived on time and were very professional and courteous.
They made every effort to keep the rest of the house free of dust and debris from the project and their work space was always tidied up at the end of their work day. Guy would call or swing by and check on the job status. When Guy wasn't on the job site there seemed to be a lead worker on the job who I could talk to or ask questions. The crew made sure I knew what was planned for the upcoming days so I always felt in-the-loop without having to ask. Painting: We had the walls, ceilings, interior of closets, and window sills painted.
Our bedroom faces the direct sun so in the summer this room can get incredibly hot. I was worried the direct sun would fade the paint (we chose a blue shade) and/or cause it to crack or peel. That has not been the case. Also, the painters did an excellent job with "staying in the lines" so there is no overlapping onto the ceiling from the walls and vice versa.
The painters were very tidy. Even though the floors had been laid bare down to the plywood, the painters didn't splash paint around. The Carpet: Excellent, speedy, and professional installation by the Construction Owl crew. The carpet has held up very well in a high-traffic area (master bath). There is no sign of a path being worn, the seams are well-hidden, and there has been no "puckering" to speak of. Yay! Misc: I cannot stress enough how pleasant Construction Owl and their crew are to work with.
From the first call I placed to the office to one of the final calls I made regarding a billing question and everything in between, Guy and the Construction Owl crew were professionals. They are prompt, courteous, professional, communicative, and do fabulous work. We will definitely be calling them again for all future remodel projects.

We've just completed an entire kitchen remodel. I could not recommend Guy and his staff enough. Before we ever started the job or stroked a check Guy gave great recommendations on the remodel alternatives. He has a super eye for space, design and colors. Guy even went shopping with us to help us pick out tiles, counters and other items and had great recommendations.
There were never any change orders requested for the work and in fact several smaller items were added after we agreed on an estimate at no additional cost. In other words, they honor their estimates - no surprises. The work itself was superb and we were kept up to date on the progress of the job and the next steps. We could not be happier with the work and would use them again without hesitiation,

Construction Owl has worked on several of our home projects since we've moved in. They work fast and efficient but also have wonderful employees. We would have the estimate within a few hours and if we wanted to do it we would have people here the next day. We have been nothing but happy and will continue to use them as our main source for all handyman and upgrade needs.

I worked with Anesta and Guy to set up my gym, and they were AWESOME! Here are some highlights: Guy, the owner returned my first call and answered all my questions on a weekend during off hours Guy himself came to our site to give us a free estimate When I called the office, Anesta knew me by name even though we had not talked yet Anesta set me up with a wonderful handyman when their guy hurt his back Anesta was able to accommodate last minute schedule changes on my part - twice - without missing my deadline The work their handyman, Danny, did was flawless and on time and under-budget! In addition to all of this, they were gracious and kind and lovely and honest the whole time. If you want this kind of experience, call them!

I have had the pleasure of working with Construction Owl just recently. Let me tell you they are fabulous. I was helping my sister do some work to her house. Ie kitchen and flooring. Let me tell you she is not one to have people in her house. Nor does she have an easy time picking things. Guy is so incredibly patient with her. Not to mention the people who came to do the work were very respectful. The end result was better than what she was expecting. She is absolutely in love with the changes.

We had so many problems with Construction Owl regarding the installation of a home gate. The gate that was paid for was shoddy and the painting was awful. It took weeks for anyone to come out and take a look at it. Appointments that were set up weeks in advance would only result in no one showing up. We had to consistently check in with them to find out if someone was actually coming out or not. All in all, the lack of professionalism and organization have left us wanting to never do business with this company again.

After buying our house my husband and I were not looking forward to the remodeling it desperately needed. We had heard so many horror stories when it comes to contractors (never on time, always over budget, and jobs left undone). After interviewing several contractors we decided to use Guy at Construction Owl. Even though he wasn't the cheapest, I know now that when it comes to remodeling your home, you really get what you pay for.
He listened to what we wanted and has such a great vision and explains what works and what doesn't, and I knew he would work with my OCD and how particular I am because he pays just as close attention to detail and never compromises the quality of his work. He is so professional, so kind, always on time, responds quickly to all my emails and texts.
I'm absolutely in love with the results and my house is really something I am proud of, thanks to Guy. Even a year later I called him about some things I wanted to change and he had workman over to my house 2 days later! He's such a gentleman and extremely classy, never needs to put other people's work down and never lifted an eyebrow to all my suggestions and last minute ideas. To this day my husband and I talk about how lucky we are that we found him. We have referred him to several of our friends and family. He's the best!

Construction Owl remodeled our main bathroom. It was an original 1967 bathroom. It now looks like a contemporary spa style bathroom, which is exactly what I wanted. Guy, the owner of the company, gave us lots of guidance with the decorating part of the remodel. We met at the tile store where he spent time with me choosing the right tile combo for the floor, shower, and walls.
They got the job done in a timely manner. The price was reasonable compared to other estimates we got. I love my new bathroom! We will use Construction Owl for future remodeling in our home.

We decided To undertake Construction Owl as the contractors to convert a home Recording studio into a media room and bar area and we could not be Happier with the results. Guy has a no problem attitude to all suggestions and Truly cares about each project as if it were his own home.
