My cabinets were installed about 3 years ago. The workmanship of the cabinets is excellent. The installation was great. The color was exactly what I wanted. The problem is that the top of my cabinet doors are starting to peel. I was told that it is because of water getting on them. They couldn't tell me why the ones that are not near my sink are peeling.
They had to redo several of the doors in the beginning because they had bubbles and hairs on them. They had to fix the island in my home due to water spots. I did have a lot of disagreements with one of the owners and was told they will compensate me for the inconvenience. The compensation was money off and canceling my warranty. I have had a couple of companies look at the finish and am being told the either the wood was wet or the paint was not dry between coats.
I have tried to reach out to one of the other owners and they refuse to speak with me. If I would have known this would have been the end result on the finish I would not have spent around $25,000 on my cabinets. I was told by one of their employees that warranty would not cover this after 2 to 3 years. My kids have painted their own cabinets and have not had issues with paint peeling. Needless to say we are very upset about this. Now I have to pay someone else to come fix their finish work.

I have been really disappointed by the lack of response and follow through with Miller Cabinets. We purchased our cabinets from them 15 years ago when we built our current home. The cabinets had a special finish on them that after 15 years needs to be refreshed. For 6 months, I routinely contacted Miller and asked if I could pay to have one of their installers work on the places where the cabinet finish was discolored and or cracking because of use.
The response was always, "We're really busy. We'll fit you in when we can." To date (8 months), I haven't heard from them. The company's service promise, "Serving you is our desire; pleasing you is our commitment", apparently ends once their cabinets are installed.
