Nowak Cabinets was founded in 1990 as a family business. Since 2018, when the business was purchased by Brent and Shannon Boncher, it has grown without losing that family touch, expert knowledge, or unwavering integrity. Uncompromising customer service through experienced and detailed master designers continues to be the hallmark of the business.
Nowak Cabinets is now offering heated countertops for all of our surfaces except laminate. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals on Earth. Because of its strength and abundance, quartz is a popular and reliable choice for countertops. Quartz countertops are sometimes referred to as "engineered" or "man-made, " but quartz is in fact a natural stone.
A huge "Thank You" to the entire team at Nowak Cabinets for helping us design and execute a beautiful kitchen renovation. We wanted the space to look and feel comfortably rustic in our older home. Nowak's design expertise and patience brought our vision to life. They were sensitive to our needs and wants while being conscience of our budget.

We built a new home in 2021. Kitchen and bath design was one of the hardest parts of the project. We had the privilege of working with Erica Siejutt. She designed the kitchen (including window placement), bathrooms and closets. She is very professional, experienced, and cost conscious. We especially appreciated her patience. We had a couple of bad customer service experiences with other kitchen designers in Traverse City and called Joe the owner at Nowak Cabinets. Right from the first phone conversation I could tell that customer service was of high priority. Joe came to our house and discussed our current kitchen and the things we wanted in our new one. We met with him once again in his showroom where he shared with us several different designs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nowak Cabinets to friend or family.
