Loved my brand new kitchen. Custom designed. We chose a white with a custom glaze. So they looked white just not stark white. It's been almost 5 yrs. My cabinets are yellow! Called and they said it was normal and nothing they can do about it. I think it's absolutely ridiculous they sell a product that they know does this. I spent thousands of dollars on a kitchen that should last 15+ yrs instead it's been 5 and my kitchen looks terrible. I would definitely not recommend.

This is our second time using Shelby for our custom kitchen cabinets. The product and price is the best around - our cabinets, both times, cost far less than the quotes we got from local big box stores. Neither of our kitchens were small but the price we paid was very close to the "as low as" price other cabinet makers give for a 10x10 kitchen to get you in the door.

I got exactly what I wanted, in exactly the sizes I wanted - including a custom pantry piece for our microwave. I see complaints about the customer service but I'm not sure those people's expectations are in line with what is going on in the building industry for the last 5-6 years. It's very busy and suppliers are overwhelmed. Our first experience with Shelby was in a slower time (2014/15) and we had no problem with response time. This time around the response time was longer but not unreasonable given the current climate in the building industry.

Wouldn't recommend them at all. Their customer service is a joke! No one returns your phone calls, business must be good! Stay as far away as you can. Tom and his crew built ALL of the cabinets for my six bedroom, four bath, two full kitchen home in Northern Michigan. Best price, best quality and they said "bring us any picture of any cabinet and we'll make them" and they did.

One phone call is all it took, what a MISERABLE Bit** answering the phone there. All I needed was a drawer to attach to a drawer front. I wouldn't have this place build me a birdhouse. If I build my next home in Macomb County and find out the builder uses these bums, Ill find another builder.

Loved the cabinets and my order was over $25,000. They (especially Anne) do not care about customer service. Order was 6 weeks late. Several items Anne recommended for the design were omitted. They did not provide a 3 D design and that resulted in 3 top cabinets not being the same height and it was 'my fault because I approved the design. Avoid Anne and here curt treatment of customers. Wish they cared at all.

By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Rude and unpleasant. Don't expect to get greeted with a smile when you walk in. Expect to get yelled at because the lady that works there seems to be over worked, miserable, and just flat out the WORST. I will not be back and I recommend staying away.

First they will tell you they don't take credit cards despite the sign on the door saying they will take cards. THEN, they tell you they do and say they charge 6% to accept it! Crooks and robbers.

Some of the finest cabinetry work I've ever seen I'm so happy with my kitchen. This my second home from them doing the kitchen

HORRIBLE customer service. Was referred to them by my builder to get a quote on an island extension since they were the company who provided the cabinets for my new home. Stopped in once and left a message but no one called back. I reached out again and after speaking with Ann, who seem inconvenienced by my request for a quote (possibly because this wasn't a big enough order for the company or that they just didn't care), she informed me that she doesn't normally work with clients but only builders and that they are a manufacturing company and will not do any installations.

She asked me if I had an installer to do the job, to which I responded I could get a referral from my builder or hire a carpenter. She spoke with the rep for my builder who confirmed that this was part of the deal that they (Shelby cabinets) would provide the addition for the island cabinet at my expense. She requested an email asking what I was looking for, but then responded by suggesting that I instead ask the granite company/fabricator to do the job or leaving the cabinet the way that it is (which clearly, was not what I wanted to do, otherwise I would not have reached out to them in the first place).

I guess this was her way of trying to push off the job to someone else. After going back and forth through email, she provided me with the drawings and I emailed her back asking her to provide an estimate for the work. I received a response the next day stating that she had someone (a contractor) that she could give a better price to, so I called her to clarify since the email was so vague.

At no point did she mention this in the previous email, she only suggested that I needed to find my own installer. She gave me the quote for the work over the phone but then told me I couldn't use the contractor SHE recommended. Why? I have no idea. I'm assuming because she didn't want me to get the discounted price. (I would've paid full price and hired my own carpenter).

Long story short, Ann was extremely unprofessional and condescending and it's unfortunate someone like that represents the business. Customer service is not a priority to them. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Just had countertops installed and they look great! The price for laminate countertops was reasonable. I had to wait a little longer for installation because they are so busy, but luckily that wasn't a problem. Overall a positive experience.

Wow! I will know who to go to for cabinets! We went to several places for quotes. All of them were over an 8 week wait, more expensive and not even custom. They sent out to other companies for them. Shelby cabinets came in at a lower price, 2 week turn around time, and they actually made them themselves! We installed them and they are absolutely beautiful. Exactly what I wanted.
