This company has terrible customer service with the staff in the office. Two years ago when I built my $600,000 home, this company installed my under-mount sink in the kitchen. A few days ago, when I was rinsing my dishes, the sink came completely unglued and fell down into the bottom of the cabinet spilling water all over the inside of my cabinet and all over the floor, and bent my pipes.

This should never have happened! There wasn't anything heavy in the sink at the time and I've never stood in it or put any other heavy items in it to make it come loose. I called my builder and he had this company come out the next day to re-glue my sink back into place. They refused to accept any responsibility and told me it was gonna cost $250 to have it done.

I told them I understood but wasn't happy about it. I agreed to pay the money as soon as the sink was installed and cured. I received a statement in my email before they even started the job. They told me not to use the sink for 24 hours so I waited until the next day (Saturday) to make sure it was properly secured. Meanwhile, Brittany Arcieri, kept sending me statements in my email about 10 more times on the next business day, (Monday).

Then she sent me a very threatening and rude email telling me that if I didn't pay immediately they were going to place a lien on my home! This was very hostile, degrading and insulting to me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I was reading her letter. I am so angry right now I'm going to have to think about what I'm going to do to respond to her harassment and aggressive behavior. One thing is for sure, I will never use this company again and I will give them all the bad reviews I can.

New to Grand Junction and was referred to the Kitchen Center for some expensive new granite or marble counter tops for our two bathrooms and the full kitchen. However, after reading these comments from 2021 we have decided to skip them and look for another place to buy our counter tops and have them installed. Was probably looking at in excess of $10,000. Gave them 3 stars because we had to give them something. We have learned to ignore one or two bad reviews but when you see them over and over and with the same person then we will avoid that business for sure. Larisa

Thanks to the Kitchen Center, especially Katie and Paul, I now have a beautiful and modern kitchen.

Susan, Katie, Paul are true pros. They have genuine concern for things to be perfect and as you wish them to be. Katie and Paul are great problem solvers both in design solutions and installation. Katie has broad and deep knowledge of the best quality products and vendors. She suggested great options within budget, covering client's preferences and she diplomatically prevented some errors in this grateful client's judgement! They are wonderful people and a great team with whom to work. Highly recommend!

I am responding to the reply that was made by this company to my previous review. I continue to give them one start. First there was no sign on the door expressing their view on masking when we had our appointment with them. There may be now, but there was none then. Had there been, we would not have even walked in the door. Their lack of compliance to this critical and simple health practice clearly speaks to their lack of respect and care for their customers.

In addition I never said that I had not been called back by other kitchen design centers, perhaps they are thinking of someone else, but it was not me. Everyone else I contacted called back promptly, and most importantly, wore masks.

When we arrived for our appointment with Heather the owner, we found she and her staff were 100% non compliant with all COVID precautions from social distancing to not wearing masks. Despite this we attempted to be as compliant as possible, as we wanted to give a locally owned business the opportunity for a sale. However we were treated EXTREMELY POORLY.

Not only did she make us feel that we were wasting her time she repeatedly refused to acknowledge our choices. At the end of the appointment she promised to have a pricing proposal to us in one week. That was months ago and we still have not even received a call back when we contacted them for the promise pricing. Please save yourselves from the frustration of trying to work with the unprofessional business. There competitor only town is also locally owned and offers fantastic products and services!

I wish I would've read the reviews before I hired this company. We've had a horrible experience and have been treated so poorly by Heather. Don't just walk away from doing business with The Kitchen Center, run!

The entire process to discuss, design, and install our cabinets and countertops was easy, professional, and actually quite fun. We enjoyed working with them, and even after we had issues with some of our cabinets and drawers they reordered and replaced them without question. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new kitchen.

We contacted the Kitchen Center to replace some aged counter tops as well as create some matching free standing tables with shelves. They came out and took measurements and explained in detail the benefits of each type of materiel and the price range for each. This information really helped us decide what to use. Once measurements were taken and the color was selected, they set up a installation date.

The workers arrived early and were out in less than two hours. We are extremely happy with the service and the end product. I would strongly recommend them for counter top installations.

My new cabinets are beautiful. Every time someone new comes to my home, they are amazed at what a change they have made. Working with Tallahassee Kitchen Center was a great experience. They helped me sift through all my ideas and the many styles to get the perfect cabinet. Their design service is amazing. They paid attention to detail, and were willing to make suggestions and make changes as needed. They had a great working relationship with the other subcontractors and managed overlapping work really well.

Katie and Tallahassee Kitchen Center were terrific. We were patiently guided through the myriad of decisions in designing our cabinetry and it worked out great. Katie pointed out advantages and disadvantages of certain options and, in the end, we had the perfect cabinetry. I recommend them with great enthusiasm.

We can't sing Katie and Paul's praises enough. Michele worked closely with Katie on the design of our new cabinetry, which is not only beautiful but also exceptionally functional. The installation, which Paul oversaw, was almost flawless. There are few businesses we'd recommend without hesitation or qualification, but TKC is one.

Absolutely terrible to do business with. Heather was horrendous to us. Apparently she is not a fan of customers because she treats them so poorly. Over 3 months late on their promised installation date. Do you know what that does to a home loan when you can't get c/o? Exactly. We had to start over at a higher interest rate because the lower rate expired before the countertops were even installed.

In response to Heather's recent comment: Heather, you had the opportunity to write literally anything to try and rectify the bad experience we had. Anything customer-service oriented would have been better than nothing, however, you're more concerned with trying to figure out who wrote this review. Somehow that's right in line with your lack of caring during our purchase.

Just because you don't remember me doesn't mean it didn't happen. Your husband, Bill was fantastic. We ordered (and put down a deposit) 3 months before we actually needed the tops installed. And yes, it was actually 13 weeks past your scheduled installation date. You were very mean and nonchalant to us about our timeline. So no, this is not an inaccurate review, and I will not take it down. I live in this community and feel a responsibility to inform potential buyers of the turmoil we encountered so that they may avoid it if possible.

I highly recommend Tallahassee Kitchen Center for all of your kitchen remodel needs. Susan helped us through the entire process, taking the time to get to know us, our needs, and provide solutions relative to our budget, and taste. Designing a kitchen can be hard work - TKC made it easy!

Bill and Heather were great to work with. Top quality service, cabinets and countertops were installed perfectly and on time. Heather created a terrific kitchen design and Bill made some suggestions for enhancements that we truly love. Quality service, quality people and excellent performance. You can't go wrong with The Kitchen Center!

The only reason why I selected 1 star is because you cannot select 0. What a horrible business. There was 1 or 2 nice people in there, but our sales rep (Heather) was the most egocentric, rude and unknowledgeable person I have ever dealt with in this industry and I deal in it a lot! We ordered two simple bathroom vanities, which ended up being way over priced for the quality. Lowe's std fit and finish would have been better and at a much lower price.

First off, they were incorrect, secondly, they were damaged and third, they are cheaply made (for the price). When I asked Heather about it (very politely I might add). Her first reaction was to tell me how wrong I was. Then she goes on to tell me how difficult I was being (just because I wanted to correct an issue). I have never been told so many times "you're wrong" and "I don't know what to tell you" by someone before.

Then to top it off after I gave up and was walking out the door, she says to me "you're the most difficult person I have ever dealt with". Any of you who know me, know that I am very easy to deal with, professional and very cordial. I started to think I was on some sort of hidden comedy TV show, but I was not so lucky. What a horrible human being. Anyways, off to Sutherlands I go for my kitchen and other home cabinetry.

I cannot tell you why I didn't go there form the start. If anyone is considering walking through the front door of The Kitchen Center, save yourself some anguish and go to Sutherlands. Oh yeah, she's the owner, so no one I can complain to there!
