Tuscan Sun Kitchens is based in Southern New Jersey, and was founded by Russ Tuckerman, a New Jersey native and professional kitchen designer & remodeler with three decades of experience. Russ has witnessed the evolution-and revolution-of kitchen design. The many TV shows that highlight makeovers and mistakes and have contributed to a significant number of DIYers and weekend warriors tackling surgery on the heart of their home. You can plan your first dinner party about 4-6 weeks after the work begins. The process usually goes like this: demolition, plumbing and electric, followed by drywall repair, painting, and flooring. After the room is prepared, the installation of your new kitchen can begin. Cabinets are carefully set, leveled and plumb to insure proper fit.

We purchased a custom kitchen from Tri state. The only thing that went well and smooth was our payment, which in hind sight was a huge mistake. Never prepay until a job is 100% complete. This was not a small job either. Many drawers do not open easily. Cabinets are not lined up correctly. Parts are broken and more parts missing. After pleading with the company over and over again, and just simply asking for an honest answer, all we get is "Sorry that you fell through the cracks.
We will complete your job. We will stay in touch". The company came down to see the issues and apologized that it was done so poorly and promised that it will all be fixed. It's now about a year later and still no resolution. Despite my repeated requests to simply tell us 'something', even if it will take a longer time, to just simply be honest with us, we are ignored for weeks and months on end.
I left messages to please not force us to take legal action as we are being left with no other choices. Still nothing. I am now unfortunately in the process of retaining legal counsel which will end up costing Tri state a lot more money.

Working with the staff of Tri State Kitchens was a pleasurable experience. Starting from the initial design consultation throughout the entire process Mikki, Luzer and the team were the ultimate professionals. They worked with us to customize the kitchen of our dreams.
