I have had the pleasure of working with Urban Homes on a number of projects, and they have consistently delivered excellent service and high quality product every time. Urban Homes provides extreme attention to detail, regardless of project size. We recently collaborated on a large kitchen for a single-family home with custom finishes, careful scribes and perfect appliance fitment.

On another project, they provided over 220 kitchens and vanities for a large multi-family building -- and installed every component flawlessly and on-schedule. I cannot recommend Jacob, Harriet and the entire team more highly and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Doesn't seem to be a zero star rating available. Avoid these people. I needed a new accessory from a kitchen cabinet vendor they represent (available only through installers, not directly from the manufacturer). The fellow in the store said they couldn't be bothered, they only do new full-kitchen installations. Another sterling example of customer non-service.

I am a designer in NYC and I have worked with Urban Homes on numerous kitchen projects in Manhattan. Their kitchen product is top quality, and they offer excellent service. Their designers are very creative and a pleasure to work with. Their installers are very professional and great craftsmen. Onsite, where issues often arise after demolition, their installers are always willing to tackle whatever comes up. The owner, Jacob, goes above and beyond to make sure the project is completed to everyone's satisfaction.

I worked with Harriet on the design of our kitchen & we used Aster Cucine cabinets. Harriet & Urban Homes team helped us with the design of the kitchen & more importantly, they were good at communicating with me, which was very helpful. Harriet was a pleasure to work with - very creative and excellent taste. I love my new kitchen!

We had an amazing experience with urban homes. The show room is beautiful and easy to access. The model kitchens are a great sample, but they also have many other options that are not on display. From design suggestions to actual installation they were professional, accurate and we are extremely happy with the result. Wait time is Italian style too so order as soon as you figure out your layout.

We chose the industrial style and everybody just loves it especially the mashed glass doors and raw/reclaimed wood combination. Super efficient kitchen and the quality is very high.

I can easily recommend them to anybody, from a home owner, architect, interior designer or developer.

We did a gut renovation and Amanda really helped us design the kitchen in a way that made it most user friendly for our family while also creating a look that was sleek, warm, and beautiful. She gave us so many good ideas and really listened to us explain what was important to us. She paid great attention to detail and her follow up with us was always very quick. Our kitchen is beautiful - we are thrilled with how it looks and works.

Well, The moment I enter Urban Home, I felt at home, and I new this is my place that I will buy my kitchen from. I new exact the design I wanted and I looked in so many places. I have a unique kitchen and unusual one. Either, the other did not know or could not see what I wanted. Mr Jacob, gave me confident, and gave me what I wanted. Personal attention, That what every one need, to get to the goal you are looking. Were ever we had issue with size, or location, all was solve to satisfied my needs.

Just to make me happy. The word NOT able was not existed. And off course things happened and issues were there. But all was solved to my likes. They have super experience team excellent service, friendly, Highly knowledgeable.

We purchased Kitchen cabinets from Urban Homes (Aster Cuicne), we are very happy with the look and functionality. we have four kids that "abuse" them and crash into them with cars and they still work great.

Known as Kindler the Swindler. Careless, and couldn't care less about the quality of his work. Uses wrong floorplans and orders, uses YOUR space to cut wood and otherwise prep other jobs, doesn't show up some days and then walks off the job when called in it. Leaves holes in walls behind cabinetry. Deserves 0 stars. BEWARE! AVOID! SCAMMER!

I recently had my kitchen renovated. Urban Homes recommended Aster Cucina to manufacture the cabinets. I chose white glossy laquer and dark laminate. The finishes and style turned out to be excellent - great value for money. Logan was very pleasant to work with and provided excellent service. When there were minor installation issues, they took care of it immediately. I decided to make a minor design change and ordered new doors - I am hopeful this will go well.

Fast forward 3 years. Urban Homes IMPROPERLY INSTALLED a high end integrated refrigerator in my kitchen renovation! A Liebherr refrigerator rep came to my apt. without even opening the refrigerator to assess the problem with it, informed me that it was IMPROPERLY INSTALLED! Made me pull out manual installation guide and very obviously was 100% correct.

Urban Homes also tried to sue us for the review we originally wrote about the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE we had working with them for the full kitchen reno they did. Starting from day 1 delivery date of cabinets! Which never happened as scheduled. The aweful reviews should be heeded! 0 eek doesn't cover it

Now Urban Homes have hired attorneys demanding I delete my review. They are threatening letters and emails threatening to sue me for posting my experience on Yelp. I am not sure how they got all my personal information if they claim I was not there and never worked with them.

You can read the review but. BOTTOM LINE. you are fool if you go to any other kitchen and bath shop in the state of NY. Pros: personal one-on-one time and attention. Multitude of options and finishes. Cutting edge design solutions. Great designers. Impeccable attention to detail. Highly knowledgeable, friendly, and clean installers. Over all experience was above what I had expected.

My over 20 lineal feet kitchen had arrived on time and installed without a hiccup. My designer came up with a few very inventive solutions in order to fully maximize the space I had, using really up and coming design solution I wasn't even aware existed. When one issue had come up due to a building mix up (nothing to do with Urban Homes) my designer Jacob made his way to my house (in hudson valley NY) personally to help find a solution.

The design process was very pleasant and I had a large variety of styles and finishes to choose from. The kitchen came in at the budget i had allocated to it. No surprises there. My designer also consulted on other aspects of the kitchen they had not provided me with and were more that happy to assist in any area they were knowledge able. I could no be more satisfied with the service, the design, the options, the installation, and the final product! BOTTOM LINE: you are fool if you go to any other kitchen and bath shop in the state of NY.

We provide General Contractor services in New York City for very long time and we always need help with good quality materials for our clients. Urban Homes is one of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets suppliers. They have it all from lacquer finishes to custom wood stains. Thank you!

I am surprised to read the reviews below but I do believe it is easier to complain than to compliment. We did a large kitchen and butler pantry installation with Urban Homes. They designed both for us, supplying us with Aster Cucine Cabinetry, Lighting, Gaggenau & Mile Appliances as well as Caesarstone Countertops. Jacob and Derek made a complicated project very simple for us and executed all parts as promised.

They were both there for us each step of the way and kept us well informed as to the status of delivery from Italy. They had a great team doing our installation and happily came back to provide minor adjustments when we asked them to do so. The pricing of the project was very competitive and their desire to please was amazing. We are very proud of our project and would work with Urban Homes again in an instant. I have already recommended them to my friends and one of them is working with Jacob as I write this review. Thank you Jacob and Derek!

Hired for gut renovation of our NYC apartment. - 3 month project turned into 1 year. - poor communication after project mgr left shop and owner, Derek, took over. - horrible response time after most of monies paid with work still outstanding. - michelle was wonderful to work with on all aspects of kitchen remodel. Overall, the price is competitive and service/communication was good until the job neared completion. Poor attention to detail and customer satisfaction. It was our first reno project and the best part about it was learning from mistake(s) of using urban homes.

We recently purchased kitchen cabinets at Urban Homes and worked with Michelle Doherty. She was extremely professional, attentive and helpful. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the cabinets and the level of service from Urban Homes, who also assisted in the cabinet installation. I'd definitely recommend Urban Homes and would work with them again.

I wandered in to Urban Homes without an appointment and was cordially greeted and invited to look around as much as I liked. My questions were fully answered, including estimated pricing and I received several product samples and a cabinet brochure. The next time I wandered in I met Derek who ultimately helped us with the cabinet decisions and then came over to take measurements and make suggestions.

I am absolutely thrilled with these cabinets! The two installers were extremely capable and worked all day every day until the job was complete. This was not an easy task as our building is 125 years old and nothing is straight or true. Virtually every cabinet had to be cut. Our only problem was that the lead time ended up being quite a bit longer than estimated, mostly because of the end-of-year holidays, but the result was worth the wait.

Urban Homes has an excellent selection of cabinets from several different manufactures and ranging in price. They have super experience team especially Derek. He went over details and options with us and set out the proposal of various items so that we could decide, based on our budget and our priorities. It was pleasure working with Derek & Urban Homes team.

During the winter of 2013/2014 I had a kitchen installed by Urban Home at my apartment in the West Village. I just want to say what an absolute pleasure it was working with Michelle. She made the whole process, which can be daunting, easy and stress free. I can't say enough good things about how the process proceeded from beginning to end. I absolutely love the kitchen and the process was both fun plus I got great results. They also hooked me up with an incredible contractor. If your looking for a top quality kitchen or bathroom please consider Urban Home.

We bought Astor Cucine kitchen from Urban Homes but had our own contractor install the kitchen as we live away from the city. The kitchen is beautiful and it was pleasure to work with Michelle in designing the kitchen and finding exactly what we wanted. However, if you are working with your own contractor be aware that the (limited) instructions how to install the kitchen are only provided in Italian and you need a very experienced contractor to make it work. Additionally, if some shortcomings are pointed out to the management of Urban Homes they become very defensive.

Urban Homes designed and supplied the kitchen for my home in Westhampton Beach, New York, The designer Michelle was amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted and the kitchen came out perfect. Everyone who sees the kitchen loves it. They made the process so easy and I would recommend anyone to them. Thank you Urban Homes for a job well done!

Urban Homes has a beautiful showroom and I love taking my clients here to show them quality products. The aster line has many unique and custom finishes and sizes which is important as a designer. The customer service is excellent and the designer, Michelle was very helpful and a pleasure to work with.

My wife and I were recommended to Michelle at Urban Homes thru a friend that was in the process of renovating her apartment and had just placed an order for kitchen cabinets. We shopped around and looked at other cabinets and showrooms but ultimately decided on Urban Homes for 2 reasons. 1 - For our kitchen, we liked the the style and design of the cabinets at Urban Homes better than other places 2 - The service that Urban Homes, especially Michelle who we dealt exclusively with, was way beyond that of any place we had went to. Michelle spent more time with us than any other showroom we visited, answered numerous phone calls and e-mails in an extremely prompt manner, and she even volunteered to come to tile showrooms to help pick out a matching floor, backsplash, and countertop.

We were impressed with her knowledge of the products and really appreciated her taking her time with us - understanding that is a big decision and purchase and gave us multiple quotes upon request. One other thing that was great was that they facilitated our appliance purchase for us, getting us a better price and coordinating delivery to coincide with the cabinets being delivered.

As for the product itself - we could not be more happy with our cabinets and have not had any problems. We had our own contractor install the cabinets and he did not seem to have any problems during the process (Michelle said that at any point he could call their installers and ask any question that he may have). Overall, we have no complaints about our cabinets or the service provided by Michelle and the team at Urban Homes and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to renovate their kitchen.
