Facility
Report
Centrally located within the "Golden Triangle, " our over 100,000-square foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. With an array of molders, shapers, tenoners, clamps and assembly stations, all of our wood doors are manufactured in-house and we have the flexibility to create new door styles as well as replicate others.
Finishes
Report
Our furniture-like finish starts by selecting only the finest maple, beech, cherry, and rift white oak, and then hand-sorting the lumber to complement the finish. The panels are then sanded smooth, manually and by state-of-the-art sanders, starting with #100 grit and finishing with #220 grit sandpaper.
Wood Types
Report
We use primarily hard maple chosen for its fine, even texture and durability. The natural color is light-cream to off white tinged occasionally with slight red brown heartwood. Density is heavy and strong, with resistance to shock and abrasion making it an excellent choice for cabinetry. Its relatively uniform, even bland, closed grain look allows for excellent color consistency when stain or paint is applied and it polishes very well.
