Very nice people. Always do the best service If you need something remodeled or change something in yours house call to Alan

Manny just left, and I want you to know that he did a FABULOUS job! I could not be happier with the work he did adding height to my vanity, fixing the left side of the vanity that had had water damage, and painting. He even painted the cabinet and doors below the height addition because the paint color I bought (according to the previous owner) didn't quite match. On top of all that, he patched the wall where the countertop people had removed the countertop!

This man is a pro, a real craftsman. And on top of all of that, he completely cleaned up and didn't take a break for six straight hours. The Home Fixers price was also better than the two local individual handymen I tried, and the office communication with me was super! I will recommend Home Fixers and Manny any chance I get.

Used them for a powder room refresh with a new cabinet, mirror, and a redesigned lighting layout involving tearing out a soffit. Chris did a great job. Reliable. Clean, came and went with courtesy and kindness. In the end we love the new bathroom. Also very reasonable prices! Services: Paint indoors, Painting, Remodeling, Remodeling

I had spent months trying to find anyone to do a small roof repair where a racoon had torn a small hole in my roof over my front porch. Most wanted to replace the entire roof section for $1400. Carson came out early the day after contacting Home Fixers and offered a price less that the original roofers who had done the roof 4 years ago. Did a nice job, work looks good, and he did a better job than I would have. Fixed it quickly too. Very nice young man. I will be looking up Home Fixers for any future issues I may have trouble with.

They fixed a gate door that was not latching to the fence and did some kitchen cabinet repair. Did a great job at a great price. Service: General repairs

The office was very responsive and the actual handyman service was great. Had a few electrical repairs in the bathroom; vanity light, vent switch, patch work est. Price was comparable and the work was done well. Took away stars for cleanliness and timeliness. Totally get that sometimes it cant be helped, but the repair man dragged dirt all the way upstairs and didn't put anything down to prevent dust and drywall debris from falling while he worked.

Also he was not able to finish the job due to having a scheduling conflict, so he abruptly left halfway through. Overall, job was well done but I was left with quite a bit of wiping, vacuuming, and clean-up once he left :/

At least they returned the inquiry, but ridiculous price ($700) to put up an simple aluminum gazebo from Menards. The gazebo was half that price!

I had a piece of flashing come off in a rainstorm so needed it repaired soon before the next storm came. Alan was quick to respond and git the repair done in a timely manner. Very satisfied and happy with the work. Would highly recommend and will definitely repeat business as needed! Thank you guys.

I really appreciated that they got back to me the same day, and had an appointment scheduled for a few days later. And Frank, my repairman, was upfront with me regarding supplies, status updates and was receptive to my input. The repair assessment was accurate, but the project ended up taking longer than expected. I was extremely pleased that they still stuck to the quote they gave me. You hear/read all sorts of horror stories about other contractors finding some costly surprise or trying to milk the invoicing, but Frank and Home-Fixers did an honest job at an upfront, consistent, and fair rate.

Used Home Fixers for a full bathroom remodel. Jay had great customer service and was a perfectionist when it came to redoing the bathroom. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for affordable good quality upgrades to the house. Service: General construction

Had several small jobs.the type that are difficult to find handymen to do. Homefixers answered phone calls and scheduled a time for a free estimate. Hansen showed up on time and gave us a reasonable price. We scheduled the work, he was there on time again, and did the work. We will call him again when we need work done.

Very responsive to request for service. Hans was on time and completed the projects quickly. Pricing is competitive. We will definitely use them again.

Our balcony railing was done by Roy. He was very professional, did excellent job, easy to work with. Mr. Carotta was also involved in the project and was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in the future if I have need to contact the company again. Highly recommend Home Fixers. Ivan and Deana 8/3/2019

I needed help taking care of a few small things around the house -- namely, an exterior shutter that had come loose and a front storm door that needed the "stopper" moved from the bottom to the top. All handyman companies I contacted had the standard "That will be $200/hour, blah blah blah.". Not so with Home Fixers. I spoke with Judy on the phone and told her I only had these 2 relatively tiny projects that needed fixing, and could they help?

She immediately said yes and scheduled a time for Frank to come out and give an estimate. I kind of felt badly that my projects were so small (it ended up being less than $75 for everything to get done), but everyone at Home Fixers was professional and friendly. The work looks GREAT and I will definitely hire them again for other things I have on my to-do list but am not comfortable tacking myself. Give this local business a call when you have stuff that needs taking care of - you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Home Fixers!

We hired Home Fixers for some handy man work. Work was good so I decided to hire them for painting job. That was huge mistake. After he started and patched he told us that the rollers and supplies were not included in the price. Same with patching small places. It took him 30 minutes to patch and the cost was extra 300$. When we hired them we only agreed to buy paint. He also was doing another job at the same time so we were stuck with place in total mess.

Work was sloppy, even with us spending so much on plastic and paper for protection there was paint all over the floor. We were literally cleaning after him. There were also places that he missed that I had to go with brush after he left. And we spent tons of money, they were not cheap.

John replaced our garage attic ladder (the kind that folds up into the ceiling). It is a project many others wouldn't even quote. Home Fixers were awesome. Showed up on time to do the estimate. Provided a quick quote and scheduled the work. They purchased all the supplies needed for the job (and didn't charge a commission for that). Removed the broken ladder, replaced with the new ladder and installed nice face trim. Cleaned up the work area nicely. It works perfectly and looks nice. I wish every contractor was this great!

I called to get work done on my house, the woman said she would call me back later in the week and never heard from her. So I called someone else.

Hans came by very quickly and did a great job hanging two lights in our kitchen. He was very knowledgeable and polite. They quoted us a great price and will definitely use them for other projects in the future

I have used Home Fixers in Warrenville several times to do repairs in my home, but this last time was the BEST! We had a leaky toilet that caused water damage to our vanity and to some drywall. We needed a new toilet, a new vanity and the drywall repaired and painted. The handyman they sent was Hans, and he took care of everything in a timely and efficient manner! Highly recommend!

We recently had Roy at Home Fixers replace the exterior shutters on our home. He also painted the surface behind them before installing the new ones. He did a fantastic job, the install was quick and affordable. Alan, the owner, also took the time to call before the install and followed up to make sure it went well. We then hired Roy back to repair exterior areas of dry-rot. He did a nice job measuring/replacing the wood, and painting the surfaces. Again efficient and fairly priced. We will contact Home Fixers again for future projects.

I have called on the Home Fixers several times. I've always been totally satisfied. Roger was wonderful, a credit to your company.

Joe is a true craftsman! He was prompt, kept me informed and his workmanship is meticulous. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Fixers, and will definitely use your service again.
