Certified Home Remodelers are a very professional company. Installation of the sliding glass door was done in less than a day. My porch and apartment were left immaculately clean. They even rolled up my rug and took down the vertical blind, then reinstalled everything when they were done. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for home remodeling work.

It's a pleasure to write another glowing review for Brad Jessup and Certified Home Remodelers. Brad helped us make our home flexible and functional to meet our goal of aging in place. He helped us enlarge a half bath, transform unused space into beautiful, tranquil areas, and allow us to enjoy our home even more! I always appreciate Brad's professionalism, his way of explaining processes and his invaluable knowledge about how materials perform. If there's ever an issue (rare), Brad fixes it well. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Well, in addition to the review below, I just had new doors installed October 2025. My front door and a side and storm door in my basement. I am extremely pleased. It was a difficult job since nothing in my house is level! But the guys did a great job getting everything set up level and then did the trim to make it look good. They were here on time, cleaned up everything after themselves and even took off the old hardware for me. They had a can-do attitude -- helpful and respectful. Already I can tell a difference with the new front door -- it's so much quieter and no drafts! I imagine it will make a huge difference in my heating bill this winter. I highly recommend Certified Home Remodelers!

Here was my original review...I had an extensive amount of work done. I had new siding, roof, windows and garage door installed in 2021. As part of the project, I also had aluminum awnings that were removed and reinstalled after I cleaned and repainted them. One was an oversize wrap-around awning for the porch that could not be re-installed, but they rebuilt into a usable awning covering the one side of the porch. I like that even better! They worked around my schedule and coordinated all the various contractors doing each part of the work. The workers were outstanding. Friendly, helpful, dependable, considerate (cleaned up after themselves) and did a great job! I selected them to do the work on my home based on a recommendation from a friend who previously had work done on her house.

We had Brad and his team handle a major project for us roofing, siding, new porch, and insulation and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Their craftsmanship was top-notch, and the attention to detail truly stood out in every phase of the job.

Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They kept us informed, answered every question, and made sure we always knew what to expect. It made the whole project smooth and stress-free.

Were extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend Brad and his team to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. We had zero issues just great work and a great experience.

Certified Home Remodelers performed a complete exterior remodel of our home. This included siding, stone work, soffit, and facia. This job was completed carefully and with great attention to detail. I am completely satisfied with the workmanship and cleanup after.

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Certified Home Remodelers which included new cabinets and counter tops, flooring, lighting, and the removal of a half-wall. Brad is clearly very selective about who he brings onto a job and the quality of the products he sells; his subcontractors were reliable and did quality work and our new Schrock cabinets are solid and well built.

This is a belated review 7 years late for a new front porch that still pleases me every day.
As far as I am concerned, Brad Jessup is the GOAT of home improvement.
My project was the addition of a covered porch on the front of my home, which truly made it look like a new and different home.
Brad is extremely meticulous and pays incredible attention to even the smallest details. He labors over construction decisions for nuances that I would not have imagined, but for his own obsession with quality as much as mine. He is very easy to work with and treated my home improvement project as if it was his own. His crew and his subcontractors are absolutely top shelf and have their own pride of craftmanship, which is very refreshing.
After 7 years signs of wear and tear are normal. But not for Certified Home Remodelers! Everything still looks new (recent snow photo included).
I'll just add a few words about the subcontractors used by Brad. Everything I said about Brad was true for them too. The concrete contractor did a fantastic job on my stamped concrete porch and walkway. I received many, many compliments on the stamped concrete, which really looks like wood. The masonry contractor did a fantastic job matching stone pieces to fit together like they were custom made.
When it was finished, my wife and I were ecstatic! If you drive by on pleasant afternoons, you might still catch us enjoying a glass of wine with cheese on the porch.
I'm glad I chose the best for my project; I hope you do too.

Each of the two-person installation team has decades of experience in the Baltimore/Washington area and were a pleasure to speak with. There were some installation challenges which were clearly communicated to me and tackled with the expertise that skilled experience brings. Initially we called Brad Jessup of Certified Home Remodelers to come in to discuss remodeling our outdated kitchen. However, our primary bathroom began leaking, even before we could get info about our kitchen redo! Brad was going out of town, but fit us in his busy schedule to take a look at the problem. Based on the issues he saw, he strongly recommended the bathroom take priority. The costs were in line with other contractors, but it was talking about his long career in the business and suggestions about a total renovation that convinced us to have Certified Home Remodelers do the work.

The renovation had its issues because our bathroom was a previous homeowner's or contractor's sloppy work, or perhaps it wasn't code for certain things when it was built. Fortunately, the team of specialists Brad always uses (plumbers, carpenter, flooring, window replacement, etc.) were all great, and spent the extra time fixing the old problems, a few being serious problems.
In fact, as disruptive as it is for a homeowner to have workers coming in and out of the house, without exception the guys Brad hires for these jobs are top-notch, friendly, respectful, professional, and all-around great guys who kept us informed daily with their work plans and schedule. We really appreciated that.

We had Certified Home Remodels basically re-do the outside of our home including new windows, siding, shutters, soffit and gutters. Brad and his team did an incredible job and the house looks amazing! Neil did a great job on the windows and the siding team could not have done a better job. A professional job from start to finish. Brad worked with us when we had a major house fire in 2020, right before covid. He represented us when dealing with the insurance company and did a great job navigating all of the complicated issues that come up with insurance coverage. We decided to tear the house down and rebuild due to the extent of the damage. Brad was very attentive and detailed oriented the entire build. I would say he was more attentive to the details than we were. House turned out great and has been perfect since move it day in 2022. His attention to detail really showed when a few months after move in day, I noticed he used glossy paint in the bathroom and kitchen. Most builders spray the whole house and don't worry about these little details. I would highly recommend his company!

There is no area of our experience that would receive less than 5 stars. We had a fairly small job- several windows and 2 sliders replaced plus a custom doggie door install. The price was fair and getting financing was easy. The workmen were extremely competent, careful, cheerful, clean and they did everything possible to not interfere with our lives. Couldnt ask for more and we will definitely rehire for future work.

Brad kept costs to a minimum, always made sure that we were in compliance with the law and had the appropriate permits, and was always in communication with me about progress. We worked with Brad from Certified Home Remodelers at the end of last year and were completed satisfied with the work. They replaced our roof, siding, several windows and a porch railing. The work for each part of the project was started on the date promised, even though we had rain during the period the work was done.
